How accurate is this calculator?
It uses publicly available pricing for Tally Prime, Zoho Books, and QuickBooks plus typical add-on costs Indian SMEs incur (payroll, e-invoice plugins, remote desktop tools). Your actual savings depend on your current contract — we will run a personalised estimate during a demo.
Why is Tally so much more expensive than I remember?
The licence fee is only part of the cost. Most Tally users also pay for annual TSS renewal, per-user expansion, payroll module, e-invoice connector, and remote desktop tools (AnyDesk Pro, RDP servers) so their CA can access books. We add these in by default.
Does AskBooks really include payroll, e-invoice, and banking?
Yes. The Pro plan at ₹999/month is feature-complete: Indian payroll with PF/ESI/TDS, e-invoice IRN generation as a GST integration partner, AI bank reconciliation across 50+ Indian banks, multi-branch GSTIN, and free CA access.
What about migration and onboarding cost?
Migration from Tally is free with any annual Pro subscription. Onboarding includes a guided session with a CA-trained specialist. Most businesses are live within 25 minutes for the data import and same-day for full operations.
